The 15 Dutch participating companies from within the sector were offered a varied programme so they could form a complete picture of Byelorussia and the possibilities for Dutch transport and logistics companies.
The trade mission was experienced as a great success. This was partly due to the fact that the Byelorussians were very interested in the Dutch knowledge and this was the first trade mission from the Netherlands. A good picture was formed during the visits to the logistics companies and the reception by various government bodies was at a high level. The participants were very enthused after the trade mission; not only was the mission a business success, but the comradeship amongst one another was unprecedented.
Many participants have already said that they wish to participate in the next trade mission to Serbia and Croatia that is scheduled for april 2010.
